I don't see this being salvageable. Either it's Sankey or LSU but someone is leaving the SEC

Sankey has the backing from the other members. Sankey won't be out. Curious to see LSUs response.

I agree with you, but that doesn't stop a bunch of posters here from constantly posting that he will be fired soon b/c of this.

Yes and no. He has their backing for now. The tides can turn quick when $ and politics are involved. All it takes is one thing to flip this situation and for Sankey to lose support

What you are seeing now is just a bunch of posturing. When/if it goes before the court, and those same schools that are supposedly on board with expelling LSU have to actually turn over all of their records, too, we’ll see just how much support Sankey actually has. This is all just talk and narrative framing by the SEC leadership and members at this point, so yeah, there is an equal or greater chance that Sankey is fired as there is that LSU will be expelled.
Either way, bodies will be hitting the floor.

You sure? I’m guessing maybe three members, but not a majority, the financial implications for other schools too high.
