I understand ND is a legit team and we're going through some growing pains, but damn if this doesn't look reminiscent of a JJ team. Bad shots, sloppy one shot possessions and porous defense right now. Hopefully this team continues to improve

Unlike JJ I expect this team to learn from this beating and get better.

Notre Dame is the college equivelant of the Spurs with how discipline they are with the ball and the shots they take. Very impressive.

That half court trapping got LSU in trouble early and gave up way too many open shots.

These teams are on two different levels, don’t get too frustrated.

I would love to know what a JJ practice looked like.

The win over Michigan was fantastic but this is a team picked to finish last in SEC.

ND is a potential final 4 team and Lsu is very young. Like wade said that when the team isn’t shooting well they must play D and rebound well. And we are a long way from playing solid D. A loss like this will show the team that If they want to be an elite team they must work very hard on getting better

You would think LSU is constantly winning national championships in all sports with this sites expectations.

To be fair, one of the biggest issues with Jones's teams was just how easy it was for teams to get inside the paint without any resistance on the perimeter. That is EXACTLY what ND is doing tonight. They're collapsing the defense and kicking to wide open shooters.

Wade won't just say "oh well." He'll work to make sure that is fixed. But for tonight, LSU's defense does look like a Johnny Jones coached team

Even someone with a below average basketball IQ can see this team looks nothing like a JJ coached team.

Weird to think a brand new LSU team with a brand new staff who was put together just a few months ago is on a different level from a team with back to back Elite 8 appearances.

Horrible defense I hope we can score 90 a game because only way we’re winning games is by scoring a ton.

Farrell was destroying the defense with the pick and roll and LSU was giving up easy easy baskets.

He went to that half court trap to get the ball out of Farrell hands and force them to make jumpers. They just made every one of them lol. It was a good idea, but they just aren’t missing.
