With all the scenarios. I think we sneak in

no sneaking in. Either we get in the front door by winning the SEC (running the table and Bama losing one more), or we're out. The committee isn't inviting a team that didn't even win its division.

Name all the other dominant teams then look at their resume. LSU will likely have the best resume in the country if they win out.

Can you give us some more insight on the criteria this committee is using?

Just my opinion. Non-division winners aren't getting in the playoff, and certainly not us, given how badly we lost to Bama.

Where are people getting this from, I don't understand??

In 2007, at this point in the season, even USF spent time #1! Other subpar programs that had their moment of glory in the top 2 that year were:
Kansas
Missouri
West Virginia
Cal
Boston College
Arizona State

2007 was pure mayhem. I have only seen 2 or 3 teams in the top spot this year and the top 4 has been full of teams that have belonged there all season, perhaps with the exception of Utah.

In no way has this season come close to resembling the insanity that was the 2007 season. There will need to be about 10-15 more upsets in the top 6 before this season is over to say that this year resembles that year.

It wasn't that we lost, its the way we lost.
BTW, we had no business losing two games in 07, that team was really good.
