This is a mid-level team

We need to be honest with ourselves.
Sure, Arkansas probably has the best staff in the SEC. And Florida & State probably looked more impressive with their bats. And yes, we still have Vandy and Tennessee, which given our record doesn't look promising.
But we need to face the fact that this season is likely a wash. There just isn't enough experience to make up for the youth.
Other than Jones at 1st, every single player should be playing for a spot on this team next year. After this season's performance, every single position might need to be replaced.

Now don't be dramatic. He's still got this summer to make a portal haul, process these players, and turn it around.

He's had all the time to come off from winning a NC and replacing Skenes and Crews, Beloso, etc and well... time to fire him now.
