This is a bad lsu baseball team

We recruit shortstop and put them all around the infield and outfield. We don’t recruit the big guys no more. Can’t get it done with short stop all over the field.

I don't think Josh Smith could take this team any further. All around this is just a bad team.

Lol and before we had too many big power guys and couldn’t hit for average, steal bases, and stretch the bases.
The team is young, rash with injuries, and young pitching staff.
We have a year like this occasionally. As long as we get some guys back, next year will be great.

Why not put shortstops all around the infield? What's wrong with that idea? I like it personally. Shortstops tend to be the best well rounded infielder; strong arm, range, smart player, good glove.

Yes but we have no fire on the team. No vocal leaders. And, thinking Josh Smith is the 2nd coming is a bit of stretch. He is better than average but he will not strike fear into an opponent.

Silly statement. He’s an outstanding player. Came on at the end of last year. I think he would have been a big time player for us this year.
