This has nothing to do about lee not playing and J.J. playing.

your anger is misguided.

The reality that is being missed is bama's luck/good fortune to get a second shot. They got out coached and beat on Nov 5. They got a second shot. This was a huge advantage

They are a great team, they have a great coach, they have great players. They got to sit back, stew, plan, watch other teams (u.g.a.) plan, and come up with a way to attack the best team in the country.

When two teams are as good as lsu and bama, you are not going to have long winning streaks. (lsu was on a two game winning streak against them). It go's back and forth because the teams and coach are equal.

They were better monday night. a.j. had the game of his life and j.j. had the worst game of his life. this wasn't the case on nov. 3. And, if they played again, it wouldn't be the case. lsu would play things differently, they would play with an edge, attack differently.

This is just like the n.b.a. playoffs, the n.f.l. playoff's ect. rarely does a great team get swept. bama and lsu were great this year.

miles isn't an idiot and saban a genius because of this one game. bama was better that night with their second chance. rolls could have been flipped had lsu lost on nov 5 and got a second shot jan 9.

I don't think lsu wins with lee coming in, i do understand the frustration of at least trying.

had things played out like it does in most years, bama doesn't get the second shot, lsu beats an o.s.u., stanford, or whomever. wins the n.c., miles gets his second crystal ball, saban has a two game losing streak and lost on his home turf to lsu, and people would have a different perspective.

REALLY?? You must not have watched the game on Jan. 9th. Because I saw a team that didn't even get past the 50 yard line until the 4th quarter. Not even 100 yards of offense.

At least some of the national writers I've read feel exactly the same way. Here's a link to a piece by one of the columnists on collegefootballnews.com:

Enough about the good fortune. LSU got to play in a National Championship with 2 losses...to Arkansas and freaking Kentucky.

wasn't he the reason lsu won the last two against bama?

did i not see him hit r.r. last year for 60 yard bomb?

did i not see him have us in position to win at bama in 2009, only to get hit in the chest late, injured, and lee throws the int?

did i not see him manage the game with his feet/option on Nov 5 to win while lee had two int's?

i'm not saying jefferson is great. i'm not fan of either. I'm saying bama got a second chance, i don't think it's a different result with lee.

thank you, wish more people could understand and not bash their team and coach the way they are.

At the end of the day, it's not as big as we make it. we are three days removed and the only people talking and caring about that game are lsu and bama fans.
