The pieces are there. They’re just scrambled up right now. Once CPM fits it altogether and our pitchers stop walking so many batters, they’ll be able to beat anyone. But if you read tyrant during the game you’d think we are already a lock to miss the postseason this year ??.

It’s baseball so I wouldn’t say a lock. With the talent we should be in Omaha in June. Anything less this year would be a disappointment IMO but anything can happen. I’m just going to enjoy the season and not lose it when we lose midweek games. It was clear today that CPM was more concerned with fostering our new pitchers experience than winning the game. Worked out in the end. He wouldn’t have played it that way in a regional.

Judging baseball teams now is similar to paying attention to football polls in early October. Lots of ball to be played to see who’s who.
