For whatever reason, Sankey has never liked LSU.

Last week, he was embarrassed in court furthering the dislike.

He’s likely been working the phones with other member institutions ever since - “we will not have a conference if we let one rogue member institution play by their own rules”.

University presidents, being university presidents, agree with the sentiment and let their myopic aspirations for higher learning override legal risks associated with the position.

SEC lawyers do whatever their boss, Sankey, instructs.

So, we could be looking at a real vote to expel on Thursday that goes against LSU.

Then, the lawsuits start…and we win….and we end up owning the SEC.

I'm of the thought that the fecal matter is going to hit the rotary air movement device in several different ways.

LSU could potentially file a civil RICO suit against the SEC and member universities for collusion.

LSU could sue for breach of contract.

SEC universities could face other issues with the Federal Government with the Speaker of the House and House Majority Leader being LSU graduates.

Even if the Democrats win the House, does anyone think that Hakeem Jefferies cares one bit about college athletics?

Bridges have now been burned. At some point in the near future LSU won’t be a member of the SEC. And that’s ok for LSU. The SEC is corrupt to the core, and Sankey is a bad guy.

LSU will not be kicked out of the SEC. They didn't play the players in question and are therefore without sin.

I can imagine some painfully bad calls going against LSU on the field, though.

Birmingham is corrupt.
