Such a great game. I can't explain how happy i was that we destroyed a perennially overrated Oregon team to much fanfare.

They actually weren't overrated that year. They had a heisman finalist RB, only lost one more time, to 6th ranked USC by 3. They went on to win the Rose Bowl.

What's interesting, is why you find this appropriate and the context you are using to post it While this is an amazing memory and a great get pumped-up video to watch for a new season... All of the nostalgia and relishing in past glories WILL NOT sugar coat the shite season we have had thus far.... at least not for most of us.

Wow, the most amazing game. I sat in the Oregon section, bought my tickets from a guy there. Those fans hated me, I was drunk and gave them shite the entire game. Dominant win!!

Anyone happen to look at some of the names on those jerseys?

That's what I noticed. That was an awesome season.

I was there. That place was electric before we even kicked off.

I can still see Sonic pounding the ground when Darron Thomas started making audibles.

I remember when we were tailgating, there was this guy down a few spots from our truck, he had a full duck blind that he hid in. Every so often he would blow a duck call and when Oregon fans would walk by, his kid would jump out from behind the blind and squirt purple and gold water guns at the Oregon fans. It was awesome.

I have the ticket stub on my refrigerator.

And lol at Rueben, last one out the tunnel. That guy always cracked me up at how nonchalant he is.

THAT'S what you take away from that? Wow.
You have to admit that it was pretty funny. He runs a pretty long way by himself before he realizes that the team isn't there. He hits the far hash before suddenly turning. A couple of players (Blue and Mathieu?) actually turn around but keep on running.

Oregon was very good in 2011. And remember they outplayed us the first half. It took Honey Badger's forced fumble/touchdown on punt coverage to turn that game.

2011 was so much fun from start until 1/08/12. It isn't even right how that season ended and the poop show that has happened since
