Don't wait too late to purchase tickets.

Clearly it is worth it for the almost 80k people that will pack the stadium. Interest in LSU football has grown exponentially since the first BCS championship. I think it is worth it and spent 1500 on lower bowl tickets right after the Arkansas game. I also spent 900 on similar seats back in 2003, when I was a student. I thought it was a once in a lifetime thing, it was, because I was a student, but now it has become something I can't miss. The feeling of being there, the buzz/vibe, in my opinion, can't be matched watching the game at home or in a bar.

You sound like a damn junkie, loading up a bowl full of BCS in your crack pipe.

you couldn't pay me to go. i'll watch from the comfort and safety of my own den.
That way nobody can make fun of me for wearing full pads, turf cleats, and a face full of eye black wile watching the game.
When LSU wins Mrs Rebel already knows she's getting a poweraid bath.

same here I took the night off from work.
I will be sitting in my living room watching the flat acreen, eating nachos, and drinking beer in my boxers.
When LSU wins Mrs. LSUBrad knows she will be getting that arse spanked and a different kind of shower

I got 2 from LSU based on my priority ranking. I do not give anything more than the $100 a year and what is required for my tickets. It isn't rocket science. You don't have to be a millionaire. You just have to understand the system and know what fund to donate to. All you gotta do is ask.

The stadium will be packed with bandwagon fans who aren't loud but just have a lot of money. Ruins it for the real fans who would be much more loud and enjoy themselves more. LOL at people paying 1500 for a single ticket. That's pathetic. When the the ticket couldn't be much more than 250 dollars.

Sorry bud. Face value is $350 and $300 based on seat location. Student tickets are $234.

Sorry not 250. 300 or 350
I was 50 dollars off

right on the money, better on TV anyway and in a NOLA bar, excitement just as high.

$100. Only the terrace tickets are $300. Premium terrace and lower are the higher priced tickets.

What does having lots of money to buy a ticket have to do with how loud a person is and if they're real fans? It's the people that don't contribute lots of money to TAF that are on the short end here.

When my family moved to Baton Rouge in 1960 people were still talking about how the tickets to the 1959 LSU-Ole Miss game were going for $50 on the street for a $3.50 face value. That translates to a $4285 street value for a $300 ticket. Some tickets on Stub Hub are going for $4285. Not much has changed.
Keep in mind the 1959 game was not televised. This year's game will be televised in high-def, so we have something to be thankful for (though I've heard the game will be on pay-per-view rather than national broadcast.)
