Do you think weekly players only meeting are being held in Tuscaloosa or Athens?

Players only meetings happen a lot, you just dont hear that much about them. Since you brought up alabana, they had plenty in the first couple of years after Saban arrived…discussed Buy-In. Even had fights in the weight room, players holding each other accountable

Players-only meetings = canary in gas-filling cave

Would rather see more players playing football together and with resolve than meetings.

It's nothing more than ear candy for the media. It's an overrated media phenomenon to report when these meetings occur. It doesn't translate to jack shite. These young guys grew up hearing it and now they wanna hold "Players Only Meetings" every chance they get, to hear their names called in media reports.

Alabama did it in 2017 after giving up almost 400 yards and 23 points to Colorado St

Bama also had one after the regular season loss to LSU in 2011. We all know how that worked out.

Seems there may need to be coaches-only meeting to figure what’s wrong with them and who’s on board still. There are enough excuses and blame to go around. But I’ve seen way more issues with coaching this year than I have players.

I always took them as a sign of desperation…

They’re only for the experts on this board to drool over.

Players only meetings don't work anywhere. It's a sure sign of problems on a team.

They are a good thing. They develop leadership, full body alignment, unity, and cohesiveness. It helps them play for each other.

Last week the meeting between Daniels and the WRs had leaks immediately made public that were positive. This week, silence which points to comments being made the staff doesn’t want public.
