Everyone knew Weathersby was leaving for the NFL after his family flooded in Houston.
And it wasn’t some secret that Tolliver and Jackson were both leaning towards the NFL.
Not like this is some shock. These are 3 guys I fully expected to go pro.

Leaving like this shows that they do not feel like they will improve with an extra season in the program
shows they don't want to put it all on the line for such a negative pussy fan base who doesn't have their backs so why should they do anything extra for them

It means nothing. Every kid and every situation is different. Each year for the last 10 years or so, we’ve lost Juniors. Some have chosen wisely, some have not. Malachi is a good example of the latter. The only thing it says to me is, given that we have more guys on NFL rosters than any other team, we must be doing a good job of picking them and coaching them. So RAGFY!

I think it means they were worried about keeping their position with all the talent coming in

Jackson and Toliver I agree with going. Both will be anywhere from 1st-3rd round picks. I'm going to go with 2nd round picks for both. Weathersby should have stayed IMO. Best case scenario for him is a 4th round pick. Would have benefited more staying another year.

You're really reaching here these players means nothing, Jackson Toliver pretty much it made up their mind when the season started that they were leaving Weathersby leaving is totally a situation where his family needs are being considered.... whether you and I feel that Donte and Toliver are ready for the league means nothing they think they are

Why would anybody play for FREE in the Amateur Minor Leagues of the NFL when he can be a PRO in the NFL?
Do any of YOU bust your arse at work for no pay when you could move out of Baton Rouge and make a very high salary as a professional?
No?
I didn't think so.
