In an alternate universe where LSU loses but swings at every first pitch:

"Why are our hitters swinging at the first pitch they see?!?!?! Shouldn't they be working the count and trying to get in to the bullpen of the opposition?!?!?! OMG, I get so frustrated with the lack of patience and discipline that our hitters display at the plate. Don't they know that if they work the count they can predict the types of pitches they are more likely to see in a specific count?!?!?!"

Drive-by baseball fans will complain at the approach no matter what it is when it isn't working.

Was it really the bats?
Easton did win you 6 national titles.
DeMarini sucks.

All of the new bats blow no matter what kind they are... LSU also switched from the Rawlings gloves to Wilson this year...

Everyone 14 and up are swinging the new shitty bats. Also, 13 and under are swinging toned down 1.15 BPF bats. My nephews team had one game of 12 runs this weekend. The other 4 the winning team scored 6, much less than previous years.

They also make errors every other play

If Jacoby would pick up some frickin slack this team should at least host a regional. I mean we have experienced guys... Hanover, Nola, Ross, Katz, Jones, Rhymes. Between the 6 of them they shouldn't be that damn bad of a lineup. The pitching staff is Omaha stylee.

Wrong. They have gone to a regional the past two seasons.

Yep. DMs, Marruchi's and 5150's seem to be the favorites. My 8th grader plays JV, swings a Cat5 and he can reach the wall in their park. The bats are not the problem

I think it is actually somewhat of a positive for the team to lose early. It teaches them how difficult it is to win consistently and instills discipline in them to not take any opponent lightly.

Very well said I totally agree

Guy said earlier they have won their division the past four years and gone to the regionals once so tell him he's wrong...

Marucci makes BBCOR bats? Wonder why LSU isn't using those?

I'm that guy and my point was Dartmouth has recently fielded a decent team.

I didn't write that they have gone to only one regional. I said they have gone to regional play without specifying how many times or how often. Sorry for the confusion.

Can't use the Marucci's now because the NCAA banned them last week, at least the 33/30 version. Exceeded the exit speed limits on bats.

Thanks. Typing fast, thinking slow. Don't know where the hell I got that spelling. I appreciate the lack of 'who ?'.

Why did he keep Javi Sanchez around when LSU has progressively got worse under him?
