Nebraska used to be the dominant program in CFB too. Times change. 1980s Notre Dame job > 2020s Notre Dame job

Stale isn’t the right word but they had 4 extremely close calls this year with some bad to mediocre teams, 2 of them at home. When’s the last time that happened? I think even Saban knew they were that great this year, that’s why he’s talked so much about being happy to win and stuff like that.

They might make the playoffs but UGA will beat them by 30. They aren't one of the best 4 teams in CFB.

This point is also worn out. Notre Dame is not what they were but they have made the playoffs twice in the last 4 years made a BCSCG in the last decade and are #6 now. Princeton hasn’t been D1 since before WWII
