It's the Wildcat. The gayest annoying name is the Wild Rebel however.

The wildcat does not neccessarily means the option.

yes it does. it's purely an option play

didn't the Miami Dolphins make the playoffs last year using it?

How about the Eagles? Do they not have a normal offense? Its a part of the game now. If its effective, use it

i still have NO CLUE how miles/crowton dropped the ball last year and didn't install a true option package of about 10-15 plays

With Lee running it?

I thought for sure they'd have some pure option plays with Hatch since he was named the starter.

With Keiland, Shep, Jefferson, Trindon this year I love our chances of stomping some behinds with the option.

I don't remember exactly, but when Murphy did receive the direct snaps, wasn't the offensive line in normal position?

hatch was ok running the option but he was no threat to burn you for the long score. The key to that being effective is the threat of the QB taking it to the house on any given play. We have that with Shep now.

He ran probably better than all our QBs last year.

Passing still has to be a threat in the option offense. having Mitchell run it would've been FAIL.

hatch could run about as well as Murphy ran.

Option is best used as a wrinkle. I would HATE it if our offense went to a pure option based offense like Michigan or GT. If you fall behind by 10+ pts, it's all but over for you.

mitchell has a better arm than hatch. he was a QB in high school and is a better passer than DMac or Ronnie Brown

The Wildcat doesn't have a pitch

It's a read by the quaterback to hand off or run
