The Advocate photos make it clear what complete and utter bull shite that call was...

Notice Fitzgerald's head is upright throughout. Had White's helmet made contact, the QB's head would have gone backwards.

Bull shite call.

Not the ref but the replay official. He’s the one who really dropped the ball.

Best view of it so far. Fitz's fricking hands are between his helmet and White's!

I’m telling you. The SEC office, who reviewed this BS call and confirmed it is corrupt as hell. Believe it.

It’s a fricking bull shite call. Systemic Alabama bias in SEC officiating and administration are why things like this happen. They will totally deny it. They can’t see the bias. But it is clearly there and it’s a big fricking problem and it is hurting this league.

He'll pick up a nice Christmas bonus for it.

Tom Ritter proving he doesn’t have to be on the field to screw the Tigers over

That's a textbook tackle. Head up and not down. I don't see how this is even remotely close to targeting and he didn't even hit him with his helmet.

Unbelievable that with all the replays in football that this call cannot be overturned!

Shitsgeralds hand is literally between their helmets, it is impossible for that to be targeting. White couldnt hot his helmet cuz Nick's fricking hand is in the way. That is a perfect fricking tackle. Not only that but it couldnt even be a roughing the passer/late hit. Literally a perfect tackle on a QB throwing the ball. He even used hit hands to shove him... what the frick more can you ask for...

The side view will show that the QB was never even contacted above the shoulders.

Worst call since Petersen interception.

Isn’t the intent of the whole targeting rule to get players to hit with their heads up and prevent injuries? If that’s not playing with your head up, I don’t know what is.
