the WHITE Helmet effect

of course we all know the "every four year" number sequence the correlates with National championship seasons.
2003,2007,2011...2015?
but how about the WHITE Helmet correlation...
We've only dawned the White Helmets on a few occasions in recent memory. In 2007 against Tulane, in 2011 vs Auburn. Both National Championship game seasons, and now in 2015 vs SCU. Another strange coincidence? or and Omen?

I think LSU needs to change the purple uniforms to that style going forward for the games where you do not wear white jerseys. That will get allow you to wear white pants and helmets to keep with tradition.
The only thing I was worried about in USCe game was that they had white helmets also which can be confusing to a QB.

All trends/superstitions that began before the year 2000 are considered ancient and thus null and void.

Where it applies to our QB going through his progressions and making that split second decision to deliver a pass, it seems like there is a subliminal, almost imperceptible aspect of familiarization that teams probably don't consider when changing helmet and jersey colors every week. I realize you're going to have road jerseys vs. home jersey, but leave the fricking helmets alone. Every little bit helps.

The purple jerseys, when worn, should not be combined with gold pants, IMHO. Not only does the purple on white combination look so much sharper and business-like, there's also that lingering association of purple jerseys and gold pants/headgear with failure in the 1989-94 era.
