im telling you.....dont forget Magee

I know Magee. He hasn't gotten in the rotation much this year. Blue has done it big time. 6.9 ypc is extremely impressive.

Blue has 78 carries for 543 yards and 7 TDs. That's a TD for every 11 carries.

But but but, why isn't ford playing

Ware starts as usual and makes em soft, a little Ford and Blue thrown in all game long, Hilliard takes majority of 2nd half carries

per wiki
quote:
Jacobs continued his college career at Auburn University, along with first-round draft picks Carnell Williams, Ronnie Brown, and Jason Campbell. Jacobs was the third-string running back behind Williams and Brown. Jacobs gained 446 yards on 72 carries and 2 touchdowns in 2003 for the Tigers. After the completion of the 2003 college football season, Jacobs transferred to then Division 1-AA Southern Illinois.[8] Jacobs' one year at Southern Illinois was another solid one. He led the team with 150 carries for 992 yards (6.6 avg) and 19 touchdowns, one less than the school's all-time leader, Muhammad Abdulqaadir, another great back that got his start at Coffeyville Community College. Jacobs was an All-American first-team selection by The NFL Draft Report and All-Gateway Conference first-team choice and was also named Gateway Conference Newcomer of the Year. He led the conference and ranked tenth in the nation in scoring, averaging 9.5 points per game. Brandon had eight receptions for 83 yards (10.4 avg), returned six kickoffs for 140 yards (23.3 avg) and had five 100-yard rushing games including the playoffs.[9]

I really hope he sticks around. He is special
But might get frustrated with the log jam

Do these people not watch college football? Not knowing Jacobs left Auburn for siu is kinda pathetic.

most underrated back on the team...I think he may be our best back and i have been saying it for a few weeks now
I thought everyone could see what i was seeing but i guess not
close between him and hilliard...their styles are too differing to pick between them though
I wanted be surprised to see a heavy dose of blue/hilliard with the 2 getting the bulk of the carries

I don't understand it, but I am sure Miles knows what he is doing. A possible predictor of Blue's carries will be if Miles gives the ball to Blue and Blue makes a big carry. You should then see a lot of Blue (assuming Hilliard and the rest are not already tearing up BAMA by then). Maybe someone can come up with some stats to back up that prediction: a great first carry by Blue followed by multiple carries.
I don't think BAMA fans realize how much better LSU is than when LSU played BAMA, particularly at running back. I am sure Saban knows it.

I find it impossible to rank our backs
Ware
Ford
Hillard
Blue
each of these guys is an absolute monster and would start on any team in the country

I agree with your point. If any of these four ended up a 1000 yard rusher in the pros it wouldn't surprise me. I wish we threw to the backs more - not to change the offense but just to be able to further evaluate these guys.

Wait until Jan. 10. He'll be mentioned, for sure.

For some reason Blue reminds me of Addai. I can really see Ford doing well in the NFL.
