For those saying this tournament is meaningless, we need to do well for seeding purposes. If we win the tournament, we most likely jump to the #2-3 NATIONAL seed. That would be huge for our chances to host a Super, assuming we make it out of our regional. This tournament is a huge deal, and if you don’t realize that, you don’t understand the importance of seeding and momentum.

And if they don’t, they are most likely #4. I’m not sure how their prospects are materially different.

The only thing this tourney matters could be positioning in that regard... 1/4 2/3 for Omaha.
For the team, and many people have said - if you choose to read - is getting guys work, setting up for the real postseason.
