So why didn't every team LSU played do this? The OL sucked all season.

With a 6-6 record, an assistant coach coaching the game, all the transfers, and injured players, I hope they play the walk-ons. And win/lose (win hopefully) I hope the remaining players play hard and have fun.

I get this take. It seems likely that he will enroll in January and wanted to get that done. Also, I am sure he concluded that playing in that game was not worth the risk of injury. What I would like to know is the reason(s) he left. Maybe LSU should do exit interviews on players who go elsewhere.
