That would tax any team's pitching. Our pitchers are acquitting themselves well.

A little early to tell. We're relying on our starters to go 4+ the next two games. Without that we're in trouble. Woods, Noot, Fontenot, Mayers, and Williams are your fresh arms tomorrow. Thats not exactly our best relievers. Schmidt and Cowan probably become available Sunday. Getting Guidry back and moving Ware to the bullpen when SEC play starts will make this bullpen incredibly deep.

What’s wrong with Woods and Noot? They’ve both looked good so far. Woods actually looked filthy in his one appearance.

I feel like Woods' stuff plays a lot better on paper than it does to opposing bats for whatever reason. Still have high hopes for him.

Nothing wrong with them. They just don't seem to have earned Jay's trust as his most dependable relievers yet. It's a deep staff and it's pretty clear that Jay likes Evans, Rizzy, Benge, and Ware right now first. And I think that saying our relievers have held up well during an 8 game in 10 day stretch is a little premature when we still have 2 games left

I think saying this is a little premature. For all we know, Jay trusts them more than other guys and has been pushing the other pitchers to see if they can prove it to him.
