I think there is a good chance that LF was injured. Miles has a weirdness when it comes to the QB position. Look at his record. Judge for yourself.

I guess so the offensive scheme involves running up the middle, or pass plays to a single WR. It is by far the most predictable offense in college football. Do we ever just pass out of shotgun when its not 3rd down? Do we ever run toss plays or counters or draws? It's like Miles wants the most simplified offense he can field. Unfortunately this piss poor offensive scheme requires an OLine that can handle 8 in the box, and not many can. I'm sure its frustrating to the OLine to continue running into 8 in the box.

Ok wait a second... Arkie has has some close calls this year but just couldn't close the deal. Then comes a tired and deflated and beat up LSU team just right for the picken..... The "D" did what they could they only gave up like 250 some yards...

You are dumb as hell.
Defense gave up 264 yards and 17 points when then offense couldn't do a damn thing. Think about this, the defense held them to 4.06 yards per play on top of staying on the field forever.
They allowed 6.2 ypa and 2.5 ypc. They went above and beyond on the road in freezing conditions. I put zero blame on the defense.

I def think the OL kinda gave up... and I cant blame them.
They are tired of having to block 9 guys in the box with 6. And when its unsuccessful, people say they suck and blame them. Which is absolute BS. If we had just an average passing attack, we would not be seeing 9 in the box 85% of the time and our OL would be fantastic.
But they do see 9 in the box 85% of the time and when we do throw it, its incomplete over half the time.
I would be tired of that shite too if I was them.

Who's in charge of motivating, energizing and preparing the them to play?

That's who they gave up on.

This trend has been going on for the past 4 years. Even in 2011, after 9-6 in OT, that team had slow starts against Western Kentucky, Arkansas, Georgia, and shouldn't have even showed up to the Superdome for 21-0.
It seems as though this team's will to play disappears after the Bama game. THAT is on coaching.

Defense played well.
WRs on this team are the true unsung heroes. MD, TQ, and JD block there asses off this season despite not getting enough passes thrown there way. Dural is the only receiver who got pretty good receiving numbers out the deal, but he earned it.

Coaching F
Les Miles looked like a feeble old man trying to describe something he couldn't see well when explaining what went wrong after the game. He seemed perplexed and unwilling to admit his team was flat. His strongest criticism was the Tigers were out of rhythm early in the game with a delay of game penalty and errant snap. But he continues to fail to notice that Anthony Jennings is not capable of getting anything out of the passing game. Les said "It's not Anthony's fault" and he's right. It's Les' fault, beginning with poor recruiting of the quarterback position for ALL 10 YEARS, constant turnover in offensive coordinators, and a failure to coach Jennings up. He doesn't want to use the excuse of youth, except for when he does use the excuse. The freshmen have nearly a whole season under their belts.
Insert the cliché here, 'They aren't freshmen any more.' He's got talented wide receivers dropping passes, when they actually get delivered close enough to get hands on them, and a quarterback who simply offers no threat to an opposing defenses. For Brandon Harris to not take a snap in that game was unconscionable. He does have the ability to lift up the players around him with his speed and strong throwing arm. He could hardly have done worse than 123 yards and no points.

Why do you people gloss over the fact that we were down a starter on the OLine when the game started….then lost another one as the game wore on? The line has played well the last month when they were all together…then the unit got broken up Saturday and struggled a little.

Just watch the receivers expressions when A.J. throws over their heads on short passes over and over again.

the team and coaches quit, although Miles was typically a mental no show anyway

Nothing in this team gave up
The dagger was losing to Bama when we were the better team that night.
Having to be perfect in this one dimensional offense is killing LSU

I don't think Miles was expecting Jared Foster to get injured and not play.

No they didn't. You didn't watch the game. I guess, offence sucked but was playing a couple dudes short as well.

The biggest turn around I have seen out of this team this season was the PLAYERS ONLY meeting the seniors held after Auburn. Following the momentum of whatever happened behind those closed doors came our first conference win, the Kentucky beat down, and the big one against ole miss! then came a bye week with nothing but hands on preparation from our staff (not like that didn't happen in the span i just referred to) and well....
I'm just saying things were going pretty awful...the team said we don't like this we'll take it upon ourselves to change and it did.
Maybe we should lock our wonderful coaching staff out of the meetings more often??

Injuries happen. To every team. Not an excuse.
We've got to have quality depth so that an adequate replacement can step up. That's on the coaches (recruiting and player development).
