I’m sure this may have been posted before. But somehow I missed it and I’m certain others may have missed it also. It’s a high level overview of Coach O’s life/career that brought him to LSU. Interview by Tim Brando. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I can see his mom “Coco” with his helmet on and pompom in one hand and a shrimp poboy in the other! How authentic can you get, not sure the rest of the world can understand! Geaux Tigahs

Coach O says he prays while overlooking Tiger Stadium at 6am everyday. He wants to lead the Tigers the right way.

I just watched that and was thinking of posting but was sure someone else already had.
As a person who was not happy about the hire (although it may turn out to be a great hire, it looks like it for sure, it was a terrible hire based on his resume) that video further solidifies my growing appreciation for coach O as LSU's coach.
And, quite frankly, if that doesn't move your needle toward the positive for Coach O then you probably need to consider if your perspective is skewed by some personal feeling or animosity.

I’m certain it must have been posted but I just saw it for the first time also.
I was born in a hospital on the bank of Bayou Lafourche (although I grew up one parish over), and I thought it was a terrible hire at the time also. Certainly the resume said so. Ole Miss was TERRIBLE and I thought anyone could have led USC to victory. Promote the DL coach to HC that nobody else even wanted as a coordinator??? Crazy story.

I grew up in the same neighborhood that his mom still lives in. His dad was the last non family member to come visit my grandfather when he passed away. My mom went to school with Ed.
For my family and the SL community it’s been great to watch his success at LSU.

That’s great they highlighted his shrimp boat captain days. Great pedigree for a CFB head coach.

Did we watch the same video? Shoveling shrimp is not nearly as prestigious as being the shrimp boat captain.
I wonder if he had to pay for that shovel.

This video is a must watch if you just want to feel good about CEO, understand where he is coming from, and enjoy a really good interview.

I have to bump this. Just saw it for the first time and it is worth watching for anyone that calls themselves a Tiger fan.
