One thing I've noticed, this team always puts the ball in play. Very seldom do they strikeout. The problem was that the ball was always hit to someone that could make a play on it. But recently they been hitting it in the gaps. That's the difference I noticed.

If your going to pick the single biggest it is no doubt pitching. We have had great starting pitching and great relief pitching lately!

Hard to argue otherwise. Garza's approach has been outstanding lately. Can't wait to see what he can bring to the table next season along with Beloso in the middle of the lineup. That's a hell of a 1-2 punch.

Okay, but as has been pointed out repeatedly, we lost two of three the next weekend. CPM almost always gets teams to peak late in the year; this team peaked late in the year; it must have been Theriot's rant that preceded our dismal weekend?
How about: CPM and Dunn planned it so that they would get their three stud pitchers back in time for the SEC tournament? Two of the three made it back, and that gave us the arms we needed to be a complete team?
So if you mean to say that Theriot's rant made the pitchers healthy, I'm on board.
