In fact, had it ot been for Perriloux, Matt Flynn's last pass as an LSU Tiger would have been a pick in OT in Tiger Stadium, losing then #1 ranking and all shots at making the NCG.
Truth is, without RP there is no cult of Matt Flynn at LSU...he'd have been the goat that killed LSU's national title birth with a pick.

Sure, he helped some, but to say he was a good qb is a laugh. He didnt even play enough to be a good qb.

The fact is that Mett just landed in Les's lap. He hasn't actually recruited a good qb at LSU.

It's hard to make out, but the trophy reads Most Valuable Player.
Without Perriloux, Flynn is a tragic figure at LSU...at best. Instead, Flynn got not only a chance at redemption, but thanks to a shite ton of help from other programs, he got a shot to move back to the #2 position and to play in the NCG.
You might not be thankful for RP, but I bet Flynn is...

From 2009-2013 only 4 programs out of 126 won AT LEAST 9 GAMES every year and LSU WAS ONE OF THEM (Oregon, lsu , Nebraska , bama).
