Defense was lights out …. Until the offense couldn’t keep the ball for more than 3 snaps.

No defense can handle that much

This seems to be a poorly managed strategy by Kelly. If Nuss is even a little hurt, then you have to use those 3 weak opponents to give Van Buren game time. If playing is not going to hurt Nuss recovery, then it should not be an injury that affects his game and the offense, but that clearly is not the situation here.

In this time of the transfer portal, their are QBs all over the NCAA that are pooping up and playing some really good football, far better than what Nuss has been giving to LSU. There is just no excuse for not changing course during those weak azz games other than protecting the future of Nuss over the betterment of the team.

I get the feeling they’re trying different things like running the receivers more but the fundamental inability to do it consistently will typically stall most drives

The thing that frustrates me the most about Brian Kelly is he doesn’t have counter solutions to when coaches find a solution to what we’re running. We had nothing for A&M’s mobile QB last year, this year we had no solution to Ole Miss’ three man rush. We could win so many more games without changing anything but a bit of play calling

Because OL talent isn't the issue here, it's coaching. And BK isn't firing his buddy Davis who has been bad since he got to LSU. He had the same problems every year under BK and he never identified it as a problem. That tells you all you need to know right now.

We’re getting outcoached in game. Interesting thing is he used to be better at in game adjustments
