We have a bye before both Bama and aTm. That's pretty damn huge. You're right in that I think we have a pretty great chance to go 11-1. The spacing before and after Bama and before aTm really bode well for us. Will give The young guys even more time to prepare for what I think will be the two hardest games.
I think Florida will still be a very good game, but they're losing a lot on defense as well and they're offense is probably worse than ours.
Ole Miss I think will be a very competitive game as well. They're on the up and up and it's at their place.

I am just glad we don't have a bunch of cupcakes at the beginning of the year. It does not help the team to have no challenges 3 weeks in a row, and then go on the road to Florida or something.

great having the bye weeks before those two opponents in particular, but getting them at the expense of playing 9 straight to open up is horrible.

We have the talent.....Do we have the staff to get the YOUNG talent ready????? I WILL say 8-4 AT BEST.

The head of the staff is 85-21 over 8 years and only lost 4 games in a season when his QB through 48 pick sixes. I will take my chances.

TCU had a very young team this season and lost Pachal to suspension. if Pachal gets his act together and gets back on the team, they will be a tough test for LSU. Wouldn't be surprised to see LSU drop that one

Why such a big gap between Bama and aTm if the bye week is before Bama?

LSU has two bye weeks next year; before Bama, and right after Bama. teams will have two off weeks in 2013 & 2014.

i think Oklahoma may even have 3 bye weeks in 2013.

I'm sure this is still hangover from the bowl game, but I'm guessing (assuming nothing changes on offense, why would it) next year will be CLM's defining moment as LSU head coach for many fans and the media. Until you're dead, people tend to remember you for your worst moments.

the blueprint will exist to stop Manziel

It already does, we created it.

Too bad our way of executing it is heading to the draft.

7-5, L's to UGA/UF/Bama/TAMU and either TCU or Ole Miss.

it's a bad schedule format wise.

UAB, Kent.State and Furman. Awesome OOC schedule there. Tiger Stadium can't wait. Well at least they'll all be Nocturnal.

The Cheesers are already making their second half plans far in advance.

All the local fans, alums and Baton Rouge business community people wish to give good ole Joe a heartfelt thanks for moving that TCU game to freaking Dallas.
