Actually, we've won the last 4 of 5 vs. Auburn.

How are we only 18.5 favorites against Auburn?

This is exactly how people lose shite tons of money.

the only time we've beaten them there in the Saban-Miles era was the Jarrett Lee game in '08.

That is a powerful statement that represents the true nature of the rivalry. Saban couldn't even beat AU at JH when he was at LSU.

LSU record versus Auburn last 6 games in JH Stadium: 1-5 .

Avg. Margin of victory for either team since 2006
= 13 points.

LSU avg scoring at Auburn under Miles : 15.3 ppg.

Auburn's Fate begins with this game this Saturday night against LSU. Like many OP have said, Auburn will come out fighting for respect and the LSU is facing its first game on the road this season after playing 3 scrimmages. I still like the LSU tigers to win 31-17 but this game is gonna be closer than the line of 18.5 points. I do not gamble but Auburn is tough at home against LSU and AU will come out jacked up for this one.

LSU wins by 14, 31-17.

....and last week Alabama was "only" favored by ~19 at Arkansas without the starting QB.

Means nothing but that's where the line is to even out the money...no bearing on game or who wins by how much.

LSU could win 42-0 or lose the game its an SEC road game.... Team needs to be fully prepared for a 60 minute battle...and then some, if necessary.

Idk why all of you are so scared of Auburn? This is an Auburn team that went into overtime with ULM at home not the same Auburn teams we have seen in the past. 10 years ago doesn't matter in college football what matters is that season and maybe the season before. Just like South Carolina hadn't beat Florida in the Swamp in 50 something years and Kentucky hadnt beat Tennessee in 20 or so years. None of that really mattered. We will win by atleast 3 touchdowns even if Auburn gave it their all.

18.5 is a ton against any SEC opponent.. then factor in it's on the road.. It's also our first SEC game of the season..

All of our fans are predicting a blowout, but I think the verdict is still out on this team.

I couldn't agree more. lot of talent...lot of youth...still questions to be answered.

I think the game will be closer than most think.

SEC road game at nite....SEC refs calling a road game at nite.

They have absolutely nothing to lose and will have a chip on their shoulder with something to prove, especially after last year. And a night game in Jordan-Hare in front of 85,000+ will be a hostile environment, and will be intimidating for many of our first year starters.

this...we better bring our A game.

I can't imagine anyone scared of Auburn.. but in no way should you approach this game as a cake walk of sorts. Still have to respect their talent, their at home, they will be up for this game.. as should we.

We should win fairly easy, but it's still early in the season.

It seems too high to me. We've beaten Auburn once in the last 11 years in Jordan-Hare.

All good points. Mett has yet to start a game away from the friendly confines of TS. We don't have to play flawlessly, we just have to play smart and do what we do.

We all laugh about this, but it's a legit concern.

it’s up to 20 today / this spread is going to the wrong way, there’s no Honey Badger to make up for all the mistakes on the offense.

We have been playing these a-holes since 1901. We've covered 20 only 4 times. We have never beaten them by 20 on the road. We are good. They suck. History will be made if we cover. The line is very understandable, however.

For which game? ULM vs Auburn was ULM +16.5

Apparently not. All Vegas cares about is getting even money on both sides.
