There were a lot of "passes" last year that didn't look like passes!
That article labels that picture as a pass, plus reading the article it says during the media portion of the practice, the quarterbacks practiced throwing out-routes, roll-outs, and passes over the middle to tight ends - it never says anything about pitchouts.
I just hope that was a pitch and not a pass!

You can tell by his jersey that they were practicing the option. His left shoulder on his jersey is flying forward as if he just stopped. His feet are square forward and his head is turned sideways. Thats definately the option.
