I see it differently.
Press in all niches all over this country now want to be influencers to the news, not just reporters of it.
They were part of F King's optics that stopped Miles from being fired last year. So they influenced the news. Their reporting fit in just right with the outcome.
This week... not so much. Hence, if they weren't part of the influence, then it must've been the wrong decision and they will tell everybody they can that it was wrong. And they will damn sure do it before results are in. If CEO runs the table, we won't hear any retractions. If he loses 5 games, we will see montages of all the talking heads saying this was a bad idea every week.

Les Miles deserved a better exit plan
9.5 million isn't a bad exit plan. Had he made the changes he promised after last year maybe things would have gone better for him.

Without a doubt. Compare Miles and Richt's record since the 2012 season and compare the media narrative regarding it was a no-brainer to fire Richt and LSU was crazy for considering firing Miles last year. Tells you all you need to know.

Mikes and Cam are gone. Surely we will now score 40 a game win the west. Those 2 were the only reason allllllllllllll this talent didn't win every game....right.
