Trev Faulk
Chad jones
Matt Mauck (older so it really made sense) but I wish he had come back.

I don't know what happened to Simon this year. People were getting open on him left and right. He was so solid in 2011, and I can remember when he got thrown into the 2010 Bama game and did a good job covering Julio Jones. Although his draft stock might not be great, I still think he has potential.

Our D couldn't afford another year of him getting burned.
And his last chance to make an impression as a college player was getting absolutely torched in the Peach Bowl.

Opposite, if one left it should have been him. He couldn't risk another injury and time to cash in on his efforts.

First off, Simon had a great year.
Second, he was put in more challenging situations this year because he was our #1 guy. Of course he got burned more. I promise that Mills will get burned more next year because he's the guy we'll be balancing our blitzes on. When it happens, please consider this point before saying he sucks next year.
Another thing, Simon smothering Julio Jones is another fan myth. Julio destroyed him. He was only singled on Julio for about four pass plays. Bama went at him twice. Simon played too aggressively. He defensed an out very nicely. About two plays later Julio beat him like a drum for a wide open TD that the QB just overthrew. Coverage needs to be judged by timely separation not by the throw.
BTW, there is not one Tiger this year, who declared for the draft, who should have stayed. Times have changed; the money flows differently in the NFL than it used to. Faulk is the only guy who probably would have improved his stock, and even then, the additional money wasn't worth it. Today it's about getting to the second contract.

Dude could have been one of the top OLs in the 2014 draft. Who knows if he'll even get drafted.
Seems to have lost his luster...saw him down in NOLA during Super Bowl/Mardi Gras getting wild. Probably should be a little more focused when the combine was three weeks away

Might have cost him even more if he came back and got hurt again. At least this way he is giving himself a chance to live the dream.
I don't get this line of reasoning. He gets league minimum and blows out his knee and is out anyway. He takes a risk and comes back. If he does nothing more than above average, he gets into third round)LT here) and makes 2-4 mill easy.
