This will be fun to watch.. App State is a respectable opponent...I find myself more interested in this game, than maybe against Miss State.... just for the fact the App state is used to winning, and in their minds sort of expect to win.
For this reason alone, I want to see a beat down of App State like they have never seen before...
Miles the last two years has had LSU really ready for the opener and we came out strong, fast and healthy...Prepared.
If RP was here, I would say we kill them, but since our QB situation is interesting to say the least, It will be close for a while, then LSU wins by 3 or 4 TDs...Miles will run run run, and until we break them down, physically. anything less, I will considered it a bit of disappointment.. Edwards might be the only player that could start on a Division 1 team...who else do they have that could crack the 3 deep at LSU?
If LSU comes to play, like it was UGA or Bama, we win big....In order for our physical advantage to take place, we have to play with meanness.

LSU fans, you are great. I don't think we App fans have ever had this much fun bantering with an opponent. I'd be remiss if I didn't say we as a whole, have a ton of respect for your school, coach, and team - and now the fans. Some of your predictions are pretty outlandish - but I love the optimism.
One thing you a lot of ya'll don't seem to get - we WILL score on you - and more than 10 points. We'll be in the 20s or 30s with few if any field goals. There is no comparison to the team that was there in 05. This offense knows how to put points on the board. So, it comes down to our ability to stop you from scoring - and stopping you from scoring comes down to sheer will, physical ability, and determination. We know we have the will and determination. The test will how much faster and stronger your guys are than ours.

killerApp, you may be right with a few players on the field, but overall, LSU will be much stronger and much faster than a team of your stature. It is just the facts of large conference programs versus smaller ones.
