Seriously, didn't we finish First in the West and in the SEC just last year? (Yes, Bama got a mulligan and used it well, such is life)

We have the HIGHEST winning percentage in the country during Miles' tenure and exactly two teams have one more NC than Miles (same amount of SEC Titles, btw) - you can't win it all every year, CNS will not do it, CUM could not sustain it (and had to run and hide from the mighty SEC) and frankly there isn't a better division/conference in the country other than the SEC West and LSU is "ALWAYS" in the hunt, if not on top.

Why can't you be happy simply rooting for the LSU Tigers ? Be glad we have winning seasons and go to bowl games. Anything else is lagniappe.

Keep in mind, these players are amateurs. They are college kids, not adults.

My point again supported! I do not "Hate" CLM, I simply feel that with him at the helm, we will merely continue to have winning seasons, rarely participate in the SECCG and possibly never compete for a Nat'l Championship again!

My humble opinion is that fans watch the NFL and expect the LSU Tigers to look like a pro team when they play.

The amateurs who play for the LSU Tigers are not adults who are professional football players. They are adolescents, many of them quite immature AND they are limited by NCAA rule as to how much they can practice ! They are full-time students.

So, when the LSU Tigers actually LOOK like a bunch of amateurs on the football field, it is very helpful for us fans to be reminded that they ARE amateurs.

AND, if the coaching seems strange at times, just remember that these coaches are not coaching in the National Football League, AND, keep in mind that they are coaching, essentially: children, kids, most of them goofy kids.

If you want to see young adult professionals kick arse at what they do, watch the NFL, or some elite military unit in combat.

I don't expect a bunch of college kids to impress me with a display of 4 Quarters of crisp, mistake-free, professional-style, football. Most of these kids are not going to make it in the NFL.

PS Who knows who could do better than Coach Miles? It is pure guessing to state any kind of opinion on the matter.

I'm certain that Vince Lombardi could do better than Miles, but . . . maybe not ! Lombardi's coaching style would probably run off these goofy kids who play college football today.
