Those stats are misleading because those linemen were recruiting high at their positions but the sucked dog shite at tackle....
I watched the games....
Btw coach O’s first year as recruiting coordinator started after the recruiting cycle was over....You can’t use his hire date and say he was responsible for that previous class...

I wasn’t commenting on O being recruiting coordinator, so you’re responding to someone else.
My point is O trying to blame Miles for “lack of talent/depth” that didn’t exist until O lost to inferior teams is so obviously a preemptive excuse for failure that it’s pathetic.

The sack percentage was helped by a qb that was smart enough to throw it away....how about you show a three and out percentage too for that year

i just posted that we finished above bama, ohio state, and fsu in offensive yards per game and offensive yards per game.
try to keep up

so then does O not get any credit for recruiting Arden Key?
this is great. O supporters have talked themselves into a corner to the point that O can't even get credit for the good things that he's done.

Dude I knew our o line sucked well before O was on the staff....
This has been a slow downward spiral that was finally realized last year....
And it certainly didn’t help that those useless dropouts stepped out on LSU when we needed them most’
I don’t blame O
I blame the players for the losses at miss st and Troy

you think your untrained eye watching a tv broadcast outweighs people paid to evaluate olien play that watch all 22 film?
wow.
youre sitting here saying your 3.5 hour tvs broadcast veiwing ( that doesnt even focus on line play)is better than someone who spends their day watching all 22 film. for fricks sake.

Of course you do.
O supporters always blame the players, previous coach, OC, and anyone else but him for his failures.
So who do you blame for him bringing in the worst recruiting class since 2002 this year?

You just proved Rick’s point. I’ll take the stats and experts’ opinions over your analysis.
exactly.
he is essentially saying
My untrained eye watching a broadcast that doesnt focus on the oline and nothing else > actual stats, all sec selections, and the opinions of trained people that watch all 22 film that can be focused on position groups.
its madness

Yes. I do. My untrained eye saw our linemen whiff on blocks....get man handled.....our pass protection was deplorable....they acted like they had no clue
We only ran on weak teams without the depth and size of our line....
Our size was our only advantage...
Skill and know how....not so much
Fire the evaluators. They suck...way overpaid....

If you really think O ran them off....you’re as dumb as a box of rocks...that’s just code for they were loyal to Les...and were not going to do anything to help O...
They didn't leave until after Coach O was named full time head coach.

For O’s sake....i hope he fired the evaluators of talent under Miles......
They were dog shite in my opinion

Yet somehow Orgeron and staff managed to win 9 games and should have won the bowl game.
9 games? 7 of those 9 were against teams that finished .500 or below. Of the remaining 6 games aganst teams that finished with winning records, LSU posted a 2-4 record. The 2 wins came against teams with 10 combined losses on the season.
For the year, LSU had one good win, 2 very bad losses and a bunch of meh. All of this with 247’s 6th most talented team.

our sack % numbers dispell that opinion. do you not understand what a sack % is? its the % of times a qb is sacked when dropping back for a pass.
your opinion DOES NOT OUTWEIGH IT.

who are these offenses that play better against better defenses?
are you familiar with the sport?

for all miles' faults he was a very good fundamentals coach for the oline.
he was a p5 oline coach for 12 years at 2 different programs.

you do realize that im actually posting FACTS(STATS) that also prove the evaluators right, right?
My stance is supported by
facts
opinions of trained talent evaluators

your untrained eye while watching a tv broadcast that never focuses on the oline

Yes. Which means they didn’t want to play for O.....
The first game when it was announced that half the team was not playing for undisclosed reasons
I wouldn’t put it passed those losers if they all smoked pot the week before so they’d fail the drug test on purpose to Sabatoge O
LSU doesn’t need players like that....good riddance

Just to be clear you think the evaluators for the program with the most former players in the NFL were “dog shite” correct?
