My memory is okay.

That was a fake spike and a pass wasn't it??

I know Dan Marino did it against the Jets one year. That may be who they are thinking of.

Ville Platte- actually Sacred Heart (baseball) pulled one equivalent to it. Runners on 2nd and 3rd; squeeze bunt. First runner across and out of nowhere, here comes a second.

cut the corner at third and ran straight in...umps weren't watching the trailing runner, zip, ball game.

The difference is, that's illegal, while the football play was 100% legal.

this one is a sweet play!

Have you never watched football before?

Heck, Florida runs that at least 3 times a game.

His foot was on the base.

That ump should have had his balls cut off and stuffed in his mouth.

I freaking HATE UC irvine and their big eared pitcher.

that was a terrible call.

if you notice too, the catcher is standing right in front of the homeplate ump, and the second base ump isn't even looking.

they sold the play and told them that they got it, and paid professionals believed 18-22 year old kids based not on evidence, but on their word.

very sad.

that's chickenshit in my opinion...

That touchdown counted just the same as any other one ever scored in the history of football...in my opinion.

In fact, I'm pretty sure that the other team had to overcome that six/seven points just the same as from any other touchdown they've ever given up.

Saying that it is "chickensh*t" is just a weak and pathetic excuse for the fact that it was a legal score.

notice the coach on the sideline with the ball . He has it in the air as if he were trying to get it in the game .

What would be awesome would be to see some 230lb LB realize it is a trick play and drill the QB.

Agreed...I think the play is shite- that's not football. Anyway, the UC Irvine game brough back bad memories because the ump did not see the play!! He called an out based on the reaction of the UC Irvine players, not the baserunner who was on the bag!!
