Ville Platte- actually Sacred Heart (baseball) pulled one equivalent to it. Runners on 2nd and 3rd; squeeze bunt. First runner across and out of nowhere, here comes a second.

cut the corner at third and ran straight in...umps weren't watching the trailing runner, zip, ball game.

When I say dirty it's not really a bad thing. I mean like it's a great trick play. I'm not against it in anyway. It's really hilarious.

Peyton Manning had a fake spike once where he ran it in. Let me see if I can youtube it...

I remember watching that. However, if I recall corrently, the refs did now allow it, because it fooled them and they blew the whistle or something like that. It was near the end of the first half. Might have been against the Saints, but less sure about that than I am the rest.

I'm gonna make sure to ask my high school coach to run this next year.

I doubt anyone that is reading this was at the game, but Kaplan ran a awesome trick play against Redemptorist in the first round of the playoffs. It even fooled the refs and they blew the play dead and stopped a Kaplan touchdown.

well at this level of football i don't mind it. i've seen it on youtube in peewee games, and on that level it's just shitty. i don't think you should use trick plays on that level.

but oddly enough i bet if that qb got drilled when he did it they would have flagged the play

That was simple fake dive, reverse... a play that many high school + teams have in their playbook.

He didn't run it in. The refs called him back. I know this because I was in the Superdome when it happened. Luckily, they didn't let it stand because it would have been another embarrassing moment for my Saints.

It would have been hilarious if one of the defensive players actually knew what was going on and just absolutely blind sided him.
