The only way I can possibly see a rematch happening, and the only way the voters will let it happen is under a very VERY unlikely scenario:
LSU loses Nov. 5th in a close road game which is their only loss. Bama goes undefeated and wins the SECCG.
No other AQ-conference champ is undefeated.
In that case, if Oregon and West Virginia were to win their respective conferences, then it would be difficult for the voters trying to sort out the 1-loss teams to eliminate LSU from consideration.
Boise would be the wild card and would prompt a huge debate. Undefeated Boise who has never gotten a shot at the NC game or a 1-loss LSU who beat two AQ conference champs?
That's the only scenario people, but don't bank on it happening.
Besides, if LSU were to win Nov. 5 and make it to the NCG why the hell would anyone want to rematch Bama?

You on the team?
Otherwise, "we" dont have to do any such thing. We can look ahead all we want as long as the team takes it "one-at-a-time"

If Bama loses at home then there's little reason to rematch. If LSU loses at Bama by 3 or less or on a bad call/fluke in OT or similar then you'll hear the arguments for rematch begin.
I agree with this conceptually but thinking there is not a chance it will happen.

However, if the rematch does in fact happen, I will be disappoitned. I'd rather see the undefeated SEC champion play one of these other teams and once again prove why this conference is the best and deserving of a virtual automatic bid, whether that be LSU or Bama.

I do not want a rematch in the NCG! We play in November and that will settle it for me.
In any rematch scenario there is no good outcome. You either:
1.Go 1-1 with Bama and each teams fans will complain about them beating the NC in the regular season.
2. Lose both games to Bama. frick that.
3. Beat Bama twice. The best option, but CFB will discount your NCship saying you faced a team you already beat once.
No thanks.

Plenty of other decent teams out there that would be better than playing Bama twice.
Wisconsin
Stanford
Boise(meh)
Oklahoma(just to keep them in there place)
Ok so not that many other good teams out there but i still would rather face a Big12 champ or Big10 champ than Bama again.

I'm in the camp that doesn't want a rematch. Nov. 5th settles it and let the SEC champ go beat up on another team and once again prove our dominance. For myself I would hope its us against Boise St. in the NCG. I want to once and for all put this Boise stuff to bed. The only way for us to stop hearing about them is for them to get exposed against the SEC champ in the NCG. Once they get that beatdown the media will get off their bandwagon. Plus it would make for a stress free NCG and we can just drink and party through the whole thing!

I just don't get people that wouldn't want a rematch since the game is in Tuscaloosa. You're going to let the national championship be decided by that fact. If it was a neutral site, it would be one thing.

Not worth talking about, Wisconsin and Oklahoma/ok st are going undefeated
I agree with this.
Whisky is currently about -500 to win the Big Ten in Vegas.
Honestly, they could easily beat every team left on their schedule by 3 TDs or more.
We're all kind of ignoring Oklahoma right now because Bob Stoops has been less than spectacular in big games and we've seen them crash and burn with the basically the same formula they have now.
Wisconsin is a little different matchup for LSU/ Alabama.
They're well coached. Power football. Plus a better QB than either team.

since we are playing what if's. What if LSU ties Bama in triple overtime? Then what?
