This isn't close to true. You don't always defer. More teams elect to receive than defer.

Most teams defer win they win the toss (because most coaches understand you always want the ball to start the third). Of course if you have to choose to start the game, you elect to receive.

Yep our program is doomed bc this guy just posted that result oriented senerio. My gawd some of our fans take posts way out of context.
Relating this guys text to the game at State in 2017 and comparing it to why we will likely lose at Auburn in 2018 is like me saying Aliens are taking over bc I saw a movie with a toy UFO on it. Makes zero sense.
