The whole development thing sounds nice but are they just gonna bulldoze a path right through the hood to downtown?

Still shows on LSU's website as open and $4 LINK. My son is only 5 and half. Too young to play anywhere but par three courses. Now Baton Rouge has none.

Baton Rouge's community golf courses are disappearing. Sherwood, Briarwood, Shenandoah, then Fairwood, now the par 3 course. Nothing left in the city but the two expensive private courses and BREC. LSU's full course is open, but always busy.

Well if the Nicholson Plan does bring nice restaurants and or bars, and Lsu has anything to do with it. You better believe the vast majority of Lsu fans will not be able to afford to go.

After you get a job you might be able to afford it. But you gotta get that job first.

Curious as to how this project will affect traffic on Nicholson. This is my daily commute route downtown.

I can't imagine they would close Nicholson during construction. But just to be safe, I'd find a new route, at least to avoid that stretch.

I hope they add an elevated walkway to this plan. It wouldn't suck for people to be able to cross Nicholson without waiting for the light.

Nicholson development will include a Barcadia!

So at least there is that. Locations: Dallas-Fort Worth-New Orleans-Baton Rouge. Awesome.
