I think Ro threw for like 500+, and Reed had like 290 of em.

Still not the record. LaTECH vs. Nebraska (Rattay ~600; Edwards 420yrds recieving).

Rohan is still one of my favorite players of all time.

Rohan was a Warrior. He ever complained about playing behind Booty...he just worked hard and prepared...his toughness he proved on the field...that Peach Bowl win where he replaced Booty against Ga Tech and won...how many times did he complete big plays with guys hanging all over him...I've got this big signed photo of the man in my office...he has the heart of a Tiger and the Tiger Nation won't forget.

I've never seen that Bama game. I didn't even get to listen to it. I was in the woods doing Army stuff that day. I sure wish I had a video of it.

can't see the youtube vid at work, but here's my tribute to Rohan from the post your all-time favorite LSU player rant:

Rohan Davey (Ro-to-Reed, you know it's coming and you damn sure can't stop it)

The 2000 game against Tenn sealed the deal for my all time LSU fave when he was limping on one foot 3/4 of the game, DL's hanging on him like curtains but still making the plays, rumbling down the field for 1st downs and extra yardage, TD to Royal in OT. (and the thing that pisses me off is I had to watch that game several months later on a lame VCR tape copy because I was living in Brazil at the time) But I treasure that VCR tape and keep a VCR to play it whenever I need an LSU fix in the off-season! One of the greatest Christmas presents ever was a box of 2000 & 2001 LSU game tapes from my Uncle when I returned from Brazil. I never got to see Ro-to-Reed in person.

damn, the best play of that game wasn't in the vid. 3rd and long on the last drive of regulation, deep in lsu territory, Rohan fights like hell to avoid a sack and then gets the ball away and gets the first down to keep from having to punt. If he doesn't make that play the vols prolly get the ball near the 50 and win in regulation.

What i wouldn't give to have Ro this year.

Very sad that he never made it at the next level.

Never seemed to get the right break. Ditto the comments here, Ro was a true Tiger and a great player for the Tigers.

Not 2 be a ranter but didn't he win a championship in NFLe or a MVP or something over there?

It was that game that made it clear to me things were going to be different with Saban in town. That was exactly the type of game we always seem to find a way to choke away. And about Rohan, that kid is a natural leader. If he is indeed in BR, Les should put him on the staff as a GA.

This may hit a nerve with a lot of you. However, he never made it in the pros for the same reason that he was sometimes very frustrating to watch at LSU. He had a very hard time finding his secondary receivers. He zoned in on the primary receiver, usually watching him all the way and didn’t have time to go anywhere else. He missed seeing too many open people by doing this.
