Regarding the Regression toward the Mean theory, I don't think you can use that mathematical model or any statistical model to accurately predict the outcome of the Tiger's season. The variables are too complex. We all agree that if certain personnel on offense are better utilized then it would likely improve and if certain personnel are lost to injury in any unit, it will be to the team's detriment. No model could predict the TN outcome. Therefore it is best just to root like hell and not overthink it.
