Those film reviews by ex players are so damning on the OL and Brad Davis.
And yet he still remains!

It's gonna take something major to get this mf'er out of here!

Stop recruiting OL from New Orleans area. Why have abandoned the great north Louisiana route for OL? Are the New Orlleans area skill players demanding that we recruit their teams OL-men toO (as a package deal)? Let us go them north Louisiana boys too…..

Even if it were perfectly blocked the issue with the 2-pt play is that it took too long. Stop with the RPO action and just hand the ball off. A quick hand off and the DE doesn't have time to blow the play up and Sharp is at least in position to wall off the other defender.

Eta: And after driving down the field with Berry and Green. Don't sub them out.

I think our scheme is an issue and play calling is a symptom of that much bigger issue - I think we are running the wrong scheme in terms of the run game. I am also coming around to the belief that Brad Davis may not be the best 0-line coach - maybe I'm wrong but I just refuse to believe it's a talent issues - those kids just look passive and indecisive to me.

As for Dickson - I think he can be hit or miss in his analysis, Hanny has to guide him back on some takes where IMHO he misses the mark - and Dickson has to admit it on the spot....but I digress.

To your point about Nuss, yes, it's deeper than health and not being able to make throws, he's just making bad decisions and that's very disappointing.

We keep going back to the costly pic against Ole Miss because No. 1 it was a huge play that really changed the complexion of the game and No. 2 one of the posters here posted a perfect illustration of one egregiously bad decision he made. One wonders how many others like that there are.

Take the 2-Pt Attempt vs OM, we had just scored on a run, the play has OM leaning to our right, it wasn't some atrocious play call. It was a well-designed play. It didn't call for heroic blocks, and poof - the LT and Sharp totally whiff and that's that.

It was both an awful call and an example of awful execution, especially by the OL.

It was a typical example of Sloan thinking he’s the smartest person in the room and trying to completely key outsmart his opponent.

All he did was outsmart his players and help cost LSU the game. Sloan is the biggest issue on this team, hands down.

He is simply not a good play caller or schemer. He actually continues to call plays counter to his talent and hold back this team.

It’s okay to admit there are multiple things wrong with this team.

The OC and head coach have to adjust quicker than what we saw against Ole Miss. They didn't expect to see a 3 man front and didn't adjust.

Most plays don’t start in a 3 man front and I am sure they called plays they thought would work. Nuss needs to understand the coverage. He is hurt and not making good decisions.

Last week KY dropped into 8 coverage against GA… guess what the GA QB did???? Took off for 8 yds.

Agree, but our adjustments need to be more than the qb occasionally running. We have got to figure out how to have more production out of the running backs. Where is the Les Miles toss-sweep when we need it? ??
