I lost my Dad this morning to a four month battle with lung cancer. This magical LSU football season has really helped me get my mind off of this tough event in my life throughout the last few months.

Call your folks tell them you love them, hug your wife and kids and tell them you love them....

I've been where you are now. So very sorry for the difficult journey you and your family have been (and are currently) walking. May your Dad's memory be a blessing.

Deeply sorry for your loss. Prayers for y’all and Geaux Tigers. He’s going to have an awesome seat for the natty! My cousin we lost early November will be there with him.

Prayers for you and your family my Tiger brother.

I agree with you. Sports does allow us to disconnect with reality if only for a short time.

Thank all you guys for the kind words. He’s in Heaven for sure and not dealing with the pain any longer.

Still got a some more big time College Football to watch, LSU basketball getting going good and LSU Baseball getting started in early February.
