Started by thanking his O-Line first. Thanked his receivers. Thanked his family. Thanked Ohio State. Then, "And to Coach O..." (Damn you, Joe.) I'll forever be grateful to Joe Burrow for what he has done for LSU. He will be a phenomenal pro - already is. I couldn't possibly imagine being more proud if I had won this award myself.

Joe wasn't afraid to speak from the heart. He made the event mean something just a little more this year. What a story, what a season, what a QB, and what a great guy. It was his night but he lifted up so many in that room and beyond. Forever Burreaux.

I thought it was super classy how he acknowledged the Ohio State coaches in attendance both with handshakes and hugs and then from the stage. I don't know how anyone in that room could not be pulling for Burrow from here out. Ohio State fans are going to be so freaking conflicted if we wind up matched up with them in the championship.
