The handling of Wade's situation is symptomatic of society as a whole

A Yahoo hack writer writes at article. In response, Alleva overreacts and suspends Wade. There is no thought out response or any willingness to stand up and defend Wade.
You see this all the time in academic, sports and corporate America. Athlete says something some small group finds offensive, and he's on the chopping block.
Coed complains that her ex-bf engaged in non-consensual sex though she was sober and in the "on top" position. Does the college (not LSU) think it through? No, immediate suspension.
A small loudmouth group of transgender activists got some corporations to install special bathrooms.
A sixth grade class at a Shreveport Elementary School received a national student survey where they were asked if their sexual orientation was male, female or transgender (again, some loudmouths out of state lobbied for those questions).
ETA: And, the more these companies and schools respond, the more it will happen.

It is a symptom of weak leadership.

Why didn't Arizona's administration crumble at the bad publicity last year...

In response, Alleva overreacts

Yep, and here's your evidence:

Alleva didn't suspend Wade because of the Yahoo article.

You use this as an excuse to get on your politard soapbox that nobody cares about.
Please seek help. I'm serious. You need help. Not everybody is out to get the rich, straight, Christian white man.

I think the more correct statement would be:
What Wade did and the way so many are defending him is symptomatic of society as a whole
Look, the guy broke the rules - cheated. Of that I have no doubt and anyone who does is simply lying to himself. And, when asked to explain, he hid behind a totally BS lawyer excuse - because he knows he's guilty.
But - because he has been successful as a coach - LSU fans are willing to accept his dishonesty and cheating and find crazy ways of deflecting it - like saying it's somehow Alleva's fault.
Folks, that's what's wrong with society. People will accept a liar and a cheater IF he's a good coach. What the F ever happened to honesty and integrity?
So no. This is not on Alleva or King or anybody else. This is on WADE!! HE broke the rules. HE has no explanation. HE is hiding behind his lawyer. HE is to blame.
And that fact that so many of you still defend him is, IMO, what's WRONG with society....

This is not a societal issue.
It’s not symptomatic of anything.
The response by folks on this forum is an entirely different matter.

Show me the evidence Will Wade broke the rules. Not what you think happened. Link the evidence.

If not, why wasn't he suspended back in Oct?
