One of the things that I have noticed & enjoyed in the last two years is how the national guys (i.e., SI, ESPN, The Athletic Daily, etc.) are now including LSU with Alabama, Ohio State & Clemson whenever they talk about the elite. That is all on Coach O who has gone from not being included on the top 25 coaching lists to being in the top five. He is getting credit for addressing what had to be fixed & in almost every case, fixing it with an upgrade. I get the idea that there are a lot of programs studying what he did & how he did it. They think that he is building this puppy for the long term.

All I know a lot of people that get paid more than me said the LSU would finish behind Auburn last year in the west. I am not sure why anyone thinks this team will not compete for the SEC.

My prediction: The offense will not regress much if any and the defense will be better.
