No man-puss but that shite literally makes me tear up when I watch it. Every time. The Haka is such an awesome tradition, and I never thought I'd see it at LSU. And I fricking hope it stays. Hopefully showing this great tradition outside of TS combined with the mighty Fehoko family embracing our culture and bringing their own, we can get us a pipeline going for some badass Polynesians.

And I absolutely mean the Fehoko kind and not the Trey Lealaimatafao kind.

Those tribal dances are fascinating. And beautiful and fierce. Just awesome.

NZ Rugby Haka
Would never fly in the US:
a) cultural appropriation
b) jersey has the words "all blacks" on it, and that is their name (we can't even say "Indians", dot or feather).

It's not a Maori thing. It's a Polynesian thing. Hawaiian, Samoan, Tonga, Fiji, New Zealand, etc.

Yea you saw Snarfs dumb arse get it handed to him on the News FB post? He said Hawaiins 'adopted' the Maori Haka.

My favorite part was his Dad grabbing the barricade and Carl the Cat losing his shite next to them.

I think most native Hawaiian people are Polynesian. They are arguably the greatest seafaring people in all of history.

How many carriers, icebreakers, submarines do/did the Polynesians have? I would say ‘Merica is the greatest seafaring people in all of history.

This should happen pregame the next two weeks and the fans should know when and where it's going to happen. How about a few hundred or even thousand fans going along with it?

The peoples of Polynesia sailed the Pacific without radios, GPS, weather radar, or mechanical propulsion. Think for a second how vast that ocean is; looking straight at it nearly none of the contents are visible.

Ironically, it was Georgia. That was Hawaii's undefeated season at the Sugar Bowl.
