Why does the 3 points make the game over at that point?
It wasn't that much of a risk. They spotted a weakness and thought they could get a TD out of it. It wasn't a horrible play call and it wasn't a great call.
Not sure what the field goal has to do with playing defense either, the game is over at that point if you don't kick and still play defense.

Whatever dude. I'm just frustrated because I want my Tigers to be perfect in every aspect of the game and I thought it was a dumb call. Maybe I do sound like a negatiger sometimes but its only because I care about how the team performs and the coaches as well. The 3 points may not have hurt us last night but against a better team it could end up biting us in the arse. Having said that...I probably should choose my words a lil more carefully sometimes and for that I apologize but it frustrates the hell outta me.Our atheleticism is superior. I just want the team to be more disciplined and the coach to make smarter decisions. I think this team has a very good chance at taking it all the way but we need to be hittin on all cylinders. This may be the best offense I have ever seen since I've been a Tiger fan and we have a serious chance at winning it all and I don't want a lil decision like a fake field goal to end up costing us a championship in the future

They probably wouldn't be going for it on 4th and 10 in a close game against a better team. It's almost like the context would change the play calling.

We pull for the same team dude. I just stated that I thought we had a really good shot at winning it all this year. Sorry if I'm a lil critical of my team. I also said that our offense was the best I've ever seen. All you did was pick at the things I said I didn't like and didn't mention any of my positive points. Sounds like you are being negative as well

on face value, the call was dumb. chances of converting 4th and 9 is almost zero. however, in many cases, the players are told that IF they see a specific defensive alignment, run the fake. The PLAYERS could have read the defense incorrectly??

I liked the call at the time for several reasons except one. Nine yards was too far for a fake. Especially a fake of that kind. We must admit however, no one was expecting it. It cost me about $500 because LSU would have covered had we made that FG.

I was in the South endzone and he cut the wrong way, if he cuts to the outside I think he walks in to the endzone.
