quote:You have hit on the frustration of it all. That one big "IF" has made all the difference in the SEC West. Otherwise, it all, and I mean all, would have been LSU.
If Saban were still in the NFL, Miles would be perceived much differently

Read the interview, there was no question like that and this asshat OP is cutting pieces to fit an agenda.

I like how he equates Miles dancing at practice to a coaching style. That new fangled dance coaching style.

Any one would even read anything said or written by JJ is a total RETARD! He is without a question the very worst QB in the history of LSU.

I was unaware Jordan Jefferson played for Nick Saban
ETA: And to think that Miles doesn't discipline his players for making mistakes is fricking laughable.

He didn't but that is the perception of how Saban coaches from a player that didn't play for Saban but against Saban coached teams. Obviously this perception is not just isolated to one players point of view. Maybe that is why Saban continues to out recruit Les year-in, year-out.

I can only imagine Saban's reaction to JJ's sourpuss look when he screwed up. JJ would have cried daily until he quit if he had to play for Saban.

how the frick am I supposed to take jordan jefferson seriously when he is talking about discipline?

Can't see how that would have been such a bad thing!!

Not hard to figure out why Saban is more successful than Miles, that is for sure!!! I just have always wondered why Miles feels he has to be the class clown sometimes. Just makes me believe it really is more about him than people think it is.
because Les isn't a robotic a-hole

Well I would rather have a coach that is a robotic a-hole that continues to win BCS-NC's year after year, then the class clown that has a very realistic shot of going 8-4 this year with the best offense we have had in 20years.

I see you taxed yourself tremendously with that thought and response. Put the crack pipe down Salmon, it might not be too late. Ok maybe it is, but you can try!!!!

then go be a Bama fan. and stop making these anti-Les threads.

I don't know why you (and everyone else) get all worked up over Miles. He's here until he decides to retire. It sucks to be in the same division with Bama these days, but there has been no other school, other than LSU, to compete with them. Seems like a lot of wasted energy complaining about something that won't change.
If your standard is Saban, then every coach in the country is a failure since none of them have come close to what he's doing.

let me break reality. Saban is at bama. If you love him that much, pull for bama. We have plenty of negative assholes on our side of the fence. You strike me as the kind of "can't beat em...join em" kinda guy.
Good riddance and turn in your fan card.
and we beat bama with more regularity than anyone else.

Hey I am a fan of Jimbo Fisher also, but not going to be an FSU fan either. Nope I am an LSU fan, but I don't drink the Kool-aid just because some idiot says it is good. If Miles does a great job I am the first one to say what a great job he has done, but if he does a crappy job "like this year" I am not going to stick my head in the sand and say all is well!!!
Miles is doing a shitty job this year, you don't want to admit it then don't, but don't tell other people how to think or what to do.
