Worth reposting....

LSU and Alabama are even because they always play each other close.

Of course this also means LSU is even with Ole' Miss, Auburn, Towson, Troy, Tennessee, and a few other GREAT programs.

You can disagree all you want, but there is absolutely no way anyone can confirm this is true or untrue. By that very fact, it is not an invalid opinion.

FWIW...I don't really agree with it.

The lack of response to my question is telling....as often is amongst the pumpers.

These posts really are sickening...LSU was one play from playing for the SEC West Championship this year...we played Bama in the NC in 2011; 2010 was a 10 win Season; 2009 we beat Bama and lose to Auburn 21-17 I don't get your point...it's not like we're getting blown out each year! C'MoN MAAN, take a chill pill! Bama and LSU have been the two most consistent teams in the nation...get a grip on life and let that BS go!!!

Tell you how to do this, get off your computer and get on the field; win a spot on the varsity team and compete yourself let's see if you can make a difference...if your too old to play then get your masters degree and coach!!!see if you can Make a difference!

If only there was a man making millions of dollars who recently got a raise and extension that could do this for the football team....if only such a person existed, surely we could make that THEIR JOB.

I didn't realize that 1 of the 2 most consistent teams in the nation wins its conference division and plays for a conference title once in the past 5 years.
Maybe they do.

you know this game....
X plays from Nat'l Champs (YEAH!!!!)
X plays from 7-6 (BOOOOO!!!)
Point is it goes both ways...can't have it just one way.

You can feel positive if you want. But you can't disregard other's points of concern.

The big difference is that BAMA administration and its fans "DEMAND" championships and excellence and they will not settle for less. Our AD stated that it was not about winning championships but about being in position to win championships. Would BAMA ever say that or settle for that. Hell No. I remember the Hallman days and the Dinardo days when many many fans with purple shades glasses were ok with it just as they are today. I have a board meeting next week and what do you think my board would do if I said "It's not about winning projects but about being in a position to win them". They would do what I would expect them to do. Fire ME. Of course I am not that stupid to say that and of course I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT.

It's called Oklahoma State getting beat in the last seconds putting us against bama instead of them for the NC. We win that game big and 1/9/12 is remembered as an LSU NC instead of the nightmare.

bama sucks

I'd argue Bama had a better OLine, WR's, and DB's than us.
OLine without question yes! WR's and DB's-Hell No! LSU continually puts solid recievrs in the NFL, Alabama as of late has only had Whooolio Jones to be proud of. And there is a reason why LSU has been called DBU as of late!

Look if Les Mile's doesn't stupidly put his damn foot in his mouth by sayin "I'll be honored to play that team again" and guess what, Les? It came back to bite you in the arse because you probabaly thought you wouldn't be play'n them again! Anyways, he doesn't say that silly shite giving power to the thoughts of sports writers everywhere who vote on this, we play Okie St. like we should have because they won their conference and deserved to be there, but ole dummy Les got what he asked for because Bama was a whole lot more ready to go this time around then LSU was and it cost us a title we deserved and there would be no damn talk of a dynasty! This season, his bad coaching as always was the catalyst again.
